That parking is just rude. No need for it at all.

I know Jim. The parkng in this street is shocking at times. mine was rammed in the week by a gold Golf, which was never going to get in the space it was trying o get into. thank god it hit the towbar rather than the front bumper.
Immediate next door neighbour currently has his Audi A4 Avant parked in the middle of two large spaces right outside the house. They had family round for the day, so their Merc M class was parked one side and on the other neighbours tow bar.... A Picasso...And a KA wedged in front of the Audi. Now spaces vacated, no attempt to move the Audi forward to allow anyone else to park. So selfish. I still don't know how the M class got in that space! :|

Well I moved mine forward before it got too low and took the Subarus bumper with it!!,
bloody cheek though, I'm livid!! ...I quite agree Jim it is rude. I'm just loathed to do any damage to mine.... ;) otherwise I would have done full citrobics on the damn thing.

Russ
Now you know why I live in the country and have a large driveway. Had rnm in London today. I forget just how much faster it is than nibble.

Spoke to the chap with the spares and he says make him an offer. He mentions a pair of good strut tops too. Do you want his number?

Consider that the standard figures for a Bosch equipped car and manual gearbox are 10.5s to 60 and yours is 12.5s, no wonder they feel quicker...but wait until you try a Lucas CAV equipped car. ;)

Yes. I know. ...NOW! But they feel different too. By that I mean looser. Freer. Ie no lump slowing it up. I don't find mine slow as such. It will nip along quite well, but yeah a manual is the one. I will admit that. ;)

So a Cav is even better.....oooooooooo!

Ahh! so my long held belief that the Lucas pump is superior is now vindicated! I am a happy bunny :D

Russ, words fail me on your parking situation. A sad reflection on modern society.

How some characters parallel park some big modern stuff in such tiny gaps is beyond me. I never actually learned to parallel park that well and it must be genetic as neither can my daughters

So the Subaru’s bumper is now just a legacy is it Russ? :)
