Well well, never even knew of that vent even when I had an S1

The S2 was definitely a retrograde step. Trouble is there was never an S1 ES9 V6

I didn't know that about the mk2 not having that vent. Must say it is very effective!

My under bonnet light won't work mainly because the wires aren't connected! They have been snipped by the bonnet hinge.
Don't care though at the moment.


Jim you have to options, both horrible jobs! ..either mk1 arise your mk2 or stuff a ES9 V6 in a mk1!!!
Just weekends work!!!

Actually Russ, Chris570 and I did at one point consider ES9'ing my Prestige but concluded it was going to me a mammoth task...

On balance, possibly easier to S1'ise the dash...

I have a dilemma.....one of my neighbours has parked his Subaru legacy on...yes ON my tow bar. It is inside his lower grill. So do I politely ask them to remove his Japanese box off my car, or do I simply start mine up and he'll have to suffer the consequences!!



A quick question to those who know...am I going loopy when I think that the radio cassette player should be displayed in the lefthand Dot matrix..ie saying radio 2 or tape. If it is meant to...mine has decided it doesn't want to anymore.
Admittedly it hasn't for a little while. Really it doesn't need too. Maybe it is a loose connection or plug....

I checked the cars manuals and it isn't mentioned at all. Just the warning messages. Ha!

As far as I know Russ, it's only the S2 that displays the radio/CD stuff in the LH Display...

Pictures! S2 radio from 1994 (1994) does give that signal on the display somehow.

Interesting you say that Jim about the radio display. Could of sworn mine did do this too....Loosing the plot today. Too much sun!!
