So am I Jim, very much looking forward to seeing what the issue is. Then cower in the corner when we find it is something complex!!
I can take a pic and pop it on my blog if you want to see the space around my regulator. I don't think it is too bad.
I think I might have to bleed the system again anyway. The front is slow to rise. Must have got some air in their again.

A picture of the area will help enormously Russ
I'm looking forward to a good look and delve into an H1 problem. Something new for me and I like that...

There is nothing complex about a Citroen Hydractive system, push fluid in one end and let it work, five sensors and away you go.

Not to us on here there isn't Will as we've studied it to degree level but a lot of people do find it pretty scary and hard in my experience but often a quick simple talk on how it works soon has a good understanding though. I do a lot of that at rallies...
Russ, there will be no need to cower as whatever we find will be fixable - whatever it is

I've owned three Activas Russ

After sorting out the suspension problems they can throw at you there's nothing at all left to be scared of... It's a bit like being the father of girls really. If you can bring two of them to adulthood and both they and you remain fairly well adjusted then you can conquer anything...
I suppose me being well adjusted is open to debate though
And if after all that I run out of ideas then I'll call on my secret weapon: the other two thirds of Team WFA

Do I know that feeling, Jim. Boys are easy, girls on the other hand . . . you never stop worrying . . . even when they've flown the nest.

Sorry for slow replies people.
I stored the car from mid Dec to until feb, but then decided I had to drive to Cornwall and back (1000 miles) and thought I'd use the XM!
Well it did it okish! Developed a bad hydro leak on a pipe (not looked into yet) on the rear axle (between axle and fuel tank) leaks very badly If you lower car.
Also I had to partially reseal fuel pump (top hat seal, throttle lever, max fuel).
Unfortunately I've got to get rid of of one of my 4 Citroens and I think it will have to be the xm, shame as it was a perfect motorway car!
Might have a look at that leak today.
