I appreciate the comments Charles thankyou
I have left my phone at work today when I left in a rush,,,i did notice a call from an unknown mobile number though, but I was in a meeting with my boss so ill call it back tomorrow....thinking it could have been the MB person?
I was aching quite a bit this morning but its worn off as the day went on....typical though, I take one day off work and come back in to total bedlam

Time to go looking for more detailing work, then it won't be taking time out of your regular work...
I don't think the call will be from the same person yet, but could well be from any number of others now.

Just for Paul - what a machined polished XM looks like when it has been driven all day and is now standing in the pouring rain:
I'll clean her when the weather is better (weekend judging by the forecast) and when I have the time!

ha

I thought once, your car Charles was a terrible rust bucket but I have to say, thanks to some people I will take that all back. Too bad Vince isn't close, I'd let him have a go at one or two of my XM's which in itself is a good compliment ( no one I know, touches my XM's - Robert Smart being the exception to be fair to him of course

) However I must say, you should not keep making Paul regret his decision to do up and sell this XM all the time!

Poor guy, I can imagine all the sweating welding her up in not the best of conditions

it would seem somewhat perverse to be on an XM forum with an XM and not post about it. To be honest, I'd rather like to enjoy my car as every other member does.

Yeah....tomorrow I'll do some oil changing on the (not) warp able Turby and get her to France, trailer and all. Will be quiet here for some time

Unless I need help! Please no......And promise I'll polish the thing in spring time! And get a pair of new steering rack gaiters on. And fix ABS......Oh HELP!

The two threads on MBclub and 190forum have been viewed over 600 times, so let's hope some there are looking for a good detailer - one chap contacted me for a reference as he made the point that you have no idea whose good or not in the trade until sometimes it is too late!
Looking forward to having some pictures up (on the forum, not me!)
