Nifty fix...I tried to get the tubes of the jets and gave up!

It's building up Paul. Also need a washer reservoir lid to stop dirt getting in. I'll do a little list.

Putting the wing back on was a pig - well, the bumper bolt and the wheel arch liner. I'm officially exhausted.

All working again except the n/s jets are fantastic and the o/s are a bit of a dribble. Given the tubing to the left is a lot shorter there's not a lot I can do about it.

The bumper bolts are never easy..

do you need some washer tubing then too?

The bumper bolt (on and off) would have been easier without the wheel in the way, but could muggins here get the wheel off? Using my torque wrench I gave up on the first nut with the torque setting at 180nm. I really do wish tyre places would be less gung ho with the airgun - this would have been impossible to remove if punctured.

Use an extension bar or pipe and you will be able to loosen any nut Charles.

The wheel brace will undo any tight wheel bolt, once extended.

B****r. Coming back on the M4 just now the o/s plastic trim forward of the mirror (the one that had to come off this week to sort the washer jets) sailed off, sadly missing the Vauxhall Insignia that had been tailgating me.

The two hinged bits of plastic on the underside were sheered off when it was removed, not that I could find them on the drive, so a replacement needed.

Better news, it runs well on veg oil (84p per litre from the Chinese hypermarket at Staples Corner), although it took a bit longer to settle down on start up. It's a mix of roughly 50% veg to 50% diesel with Millers as well.

Well done, I still never tried to damage a tail-gaiter even though I've secretly wanted to. :)Also respect of having the guts to use veg oil...I still never tried even though I have it hanging around in the garage.

ps never use a torque wrench to loosen bolts or so I have learned.
