The view we have would be the same one an XR3i or Golf GT1 driver would have...the back of it as it pulled away.

Here is a shot taken earlier today with work in progress to the rear door and wing that had been quite heavily (and mostly unnecessarily) filled and repainted in the past. The Bodyshop hopes to have everything ready to paint later this week including welding on the front cills! Regards, Matthew T.

Cor.... That's quite some prep. The dust is epic! Might need a good bucket and sponge... Just saying!

Yes chaps I think it will need a good clean afterwards on both sides, but hopefully the effort shall be worth it! The dust is mainly from the filler that needs to be sanded off. The same chap has done paintwork on almost all of my XM, including flattening a large 'bottom' shaped dent in the gold car rear wing and removing numerous small dents and repainting both sides of the Germany car. The work has progressed rather more slowly than hoped, but most of the painting is now done, which includes another rear door to replace the heavily filled original. Here is a photo taken last week after my re-fitting of the front bumper and nosecone. I am very pleased with the finish on the door and rear wing. The rear spoiler, roof corner section and rear bumper still await attention, but I have been promised completion of the car by Friday. With regards, Matthew T.
