Yes, for bonnet and roof I paid £180 Russ..

The bandage has worked enough that the car is usable again

Sadly though it won't be going to Wetherby and nor will I (again!) Family needs must...

Well the great thing about the XM is the roof panel is separate from the door caps and has no body coloured pillars. So hopefully when the time comes, just the centre part can be done. Even then it's only the back part that's going.
It isn't as bad as yours was Jim, but it's on it's way now.

Still that's a good price you paid. Is the colour match good?

Shame about the Northern Rally, how about the DS rally? I might be going to that one.

The colour match is OK Russ, in fact it's perfect based on hidden original paint in the door shuts and so i=on but it does highlight the fact that most of the remaining exposed paintwork has faded a little!

I should be good for the DS rally Russ...

I hopefully should be there on the Sunday, weather permitting and the car has passed its mot without major surgery!!!

Well that's good that the paint is matched well. The problem with mine, is in areas it really has faded quite a bit, so fresh paint is going to show that up. However, the rear caps above the rear windows have been colour matched very well, so when I get the roof done, I'll get them to take the colour match of them if it's possible.

For those who have ordered one, your in for a treat. It's really excellent. So I highly recommend it if you like your Citroens, as it incorporates all their models, and a really good coverage of the XM.

So clutz here thought the DS rally was this coming weekend. Totally convinced myself, god knows why... it was handy having a calendar next to the loo, only to discover it is the following weekend. Would have been interesting turning up to Little Horwood expecting a field of DS's only to find nothing at all!

no I suppose they don't. Especially the black 1974 one which wins best DS consistently.
