Here is a photo of my slightly earlier lhd 24v imported from Hamburg, Germany in 2012. The car has covered around 160K and needed quite a lot of tidying up, although the bodywork had no rust and mechanically she was very sound.

The black beauty 8-) Just the one Carl Hamilton used in a (swedish) movie :o

I like that, but have to live with the (almost) British Racing Green (ERY) :|

MTXM wrote: the headlight washers must be aftermarket.
They are genuine S1 headlamp washers for countries that required them as standard.

Iirc, the Exclusive trim is a step above the standard SE trim.

It is good to have the further information Vieil and interestingly I have just finished an autobox rebuilt on one of my 12v, albeit after 120,000 miles! The incident with the 2.0 sounded painful and just as well the car is so strong. That is a coincidence you were born in the UK at Wyton and I know the area and lived at nearby Hemingford Abbots for a time. I am sure you are right about the headlamp washers Will which I have seen on other cars, although my 1989 V6 Exclusive actually has a slightly lower spec than SE with no heated seats or sunroof! With regards, Matthew T.

I believe Swedish cars need headlight washers by law, and I have only seen Swedish XM's with those large washers. So it's definitely a Swedeish one!!

Mme Vert is home.
After some light recond in and out, she's looking presentable...i think.
Powertrain works as new. Hydraulics as soft as a sailboat in a light breese.
Some small dents in the hood and a little sunburn in the plastic details between hood and windscreen. (Bodyshop consulted :| )

I love her :!: :D

I once went to Odense, but only for a couple of hours. I had just been to drive the Storebaelt when it was the longest suspension bridge in the World.

One has to do these things.
