I always thought that the TCT XM Manual felt quicker and much better than your "benchmark" ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

The car originally had a cat Jim, so has someone taken it off on account of the gas? With regards, Matthew T.

I guess so Matthew and thought it should have one...

And also done away with the lambda sensor too which throws up engine ECU faults...

I have a couple of Activa TCT cats in stock (found, forgot I had them until a big sortout yesterday) and I guess I could fit one of those and at the same time reinstate the oxygen sensor...

Can anyone confirm if the Activa cat is the same as the XM TCT cat?

I think the activa cat has a seperate dowwn pipe to the cat wheresa i think the xm one was all one peice but they look the same ish, might be worth checking the part numbers on bosals web site or the citroen one.

Do you have a spare spare Activa cat as i need one rather badly, emmissions are good but it rattles something awefull under load........................

Cats direct are also worth a look. Scrap the old ones, use your winnings to buy a new non precious metal cat!!

The Activa is one-piece from the downpipe Dean, no separate downpipe...

It's got your name on it Dean :D

Ahh, those cats are rubbish. Old V6 really struggled to get through the MOT and it was only by use of some super-carlos-fandango cat cleaner that it did...

Mind you, for as car like mine that runs primarily on gas, one of those would possibly be quite adequate...
