1995 Citroen XM 2.5 Exclusive TD - For Sale

I am selling my late husband’s 1995 Citroen XM 2.5 Exclusive TD which is in excellent condition.
We bought the car from a friend of ours in March 2006 when it had done 35,213 miles. The current mileage is 76,966, and I’m ashamed to say that in the last 4 years, I have only done 2,000 miles. The car is taxed and MOT’d to 31 March 2021, and has had a minor service today, which was basically an oil change and a “health check”, which it passed with flying colours!
The car has always been garaged and rarely taken out in the rain! There is no rust and the paintwork is excellent. My husband used to polish the car religiously, but I must admit that I’ve only managed to do the bonnet – once, it still gleams though. The interior is grey leather, with suede centre sections, and is unmarked. Strangely, for a 25-year-old car, the interior still smells like new!
The timing belt was replaced in 2017 (75,677 miles), and the spheres were last serviced by Pleiades in 2013 (71,130K miles). At the last MOT in March I had to have a new Steering Rack Boot Kit. There are no mechanical issues, it starts well and drives like a dream.
There are a couple of minor niggles, the key code cover hinge has broken, the remote key doesn’t work – the rubberised bit has split which I’ve tried covering with insulating tape but it’s still not working, and the driver seat suede section is a tiny bit worn but not split or anything.
I’ve attached lots of photos which I hope do it justice. If you want to see any more photos, or have any questions, just let me know.
The car is in Dorset and I’m asking £3,000. My husband really loved this car and I’m hoping to sell it to someone who will appreciate it as much as he did.
