This 1994 2.5TD will be scrapped and crushed within the next couple of weeks, unless rescued.

RP 6454 (11 July 1994)
VSX RHD Emerald Green, Velvet 'BD' interior
approx 110k miles on the clock
Owned for a long time by a now retired couple, and obviously lovingly looked after body-wise and interior.
Vehicle has been in southern Spain for some years, so looks rust-free.
Unfortunately, owner appears not to have been mechanically minded, and has allowed a local non-Citroen workshop to see to servicing. Engine starts, and runs, but a loud hammering sound from engine top end. Could be really bad injector, or maybe con-rod; possibly balancer shaft issue. Compression (while cranking) sounds reasonable. Started this morning (with a jump) immediately, not having been run for about three weeks.
Engine bay in dire contrast to body and interior: ECU box absent, ECUs resting untidily in the corner. Small weep from HP pump. One or two things unplugged (eg water level sensor), belts cover loose. A good bit of this likely down to ineptitude of the workshop.
The workshop now has the owner's authority to fix/dispose/scrap, and wants anyone interested to contact them within a week or two. Can probably be acquired for a song. Seems a shame to see it crushed, which is what Malaga scrapyards immediately do with Xantias and the like, because of lack of demand for the spares.
Car located in Algarrobo, five minutes from J.277 of A7 (N340), Andalucia.
I am unable to take on the car myself, either for spares or as a repair job.
