At last a
DIESEL-MANUAL for a Change with early exclusive type alloys, a bit difficult to see from the photo exactly how bad the bonnet damage is though, looks like it could make a very nice XM for someone with some TLC
Also note colour coded mirrors and windscreen/scuttle panel and wing corner caps, on an S1

My (1993 series 1.5) also has colour coded mirror bodies and scuttle panel, as well as side rubbing strips and bumpers. Did they perhaps go to colour coding with the series 1.5?

I think it was only the fancy ones that got the colour coding treatment. A bit like fancy series 2 cars having colour coded bumpers.
Looks like it will make a nice car for someone.

I WANT IT AND ITS TOO DAMM FAR AWAY!!!
Yes Series 1.5 models from K reg 1993 got ALL Colour coding, mirrors, and the SED Diesel ALSO gained WOOD inside and electric arm rest, as early SED's didn't have wood or electric arm rest... The alloys ARE PROPER for the year too, they had dropped the older LARGE centre cap alloys by 1993..
Drooool drooollll... ive been looking for a DERV manual now aswell....

I don't understand why vendors don't at least try for an MOT - a pass would make this very easy to sell and would surely pay for itself? Bidders wouldn't then be put off by having to budget for transportation costs. Even a fail would give some useful information for prospective buyers who could value the car with a level of confidence. With no MOT and no failure sheet, unless you can get to see the car, you can really only value it as scrap.
Hopefully this will turn out to be a great buy for someone on here.

E-bay sellers really annoy me, the people who take shit pictures, don't bother to prepare their vehicles for sale, and either go over the top with the descriptions, or don't give enough detail.
How hard is it to wash a car, run the hoover over the interior, take pictures during daylight!
If this car was MOTd, or a MOT failure, as Mouseflakes says it would be a more interesting proposition, the seller has mroe to gain that to loose.
Go on Paul, buy it!!!

I prefer these shit descriptions! Because I go with an open mind and im not scared to fix anything, it KEEPS the PRICE LOW for me then..
Best way! A better bargain then.
ON the otherhand, I know what you mean about shite descriptions, I do my best with a fullest description possible.. But though, it hasn't always helped me either

Poole is far away from you Paul.
The cheapness of the car could offset the inconvenience of having to travel for it!
