Morning all......it's been a while.......
Shell has FINALLY gone.......
Still got lots of stuff left over :
4 doors

tail-gate (minus spoiler, badges, wiper)
transmission (needs repair/overhaul)
engine bottom end (head sold)
manifolds / turbo
rear subframe (complete)
fuel tank
....and various odds 'n' sods in a large plastic container.
Email me with your (XM-related) wants/needs/whims/fancies :

Cheers for now
Justin
P.S. : I took a video of the shell being collected; which I might upload, if I can find a free/easy hosting site.

You can upload to Youtube and embed on here so it plays on the site.

I'll have to re-encode first, as the video was shot in portrait mode, and defaults to playing back in landscape mode (so the video is rotated 90 degrees anti-clockwise).
It's not a problem when I playback on my PC/laptop, as I just tell mplayer to rotate the video 90 degrees clockwise
Will look into it, as time permits

The current state of dismantlement....
Had some RIGHT fun and games cracking the hub nuts. Ended up having to cut sections out of the brake discs, and wedging a scaffold-pole in the cut-out, to prevent the disc/drive-shaft from turning !
Got pretty much everything available from the engine/box/sub-frame assembly; aside from the engine top-end. Box needs overhauling.
Also got the rear sub-frame, and fuel-tank.
My thinking with the transmission and/or the torque-converter, is that if someone was planning a box-swap at some point in the future; they might consider my items, with a view to getting them reconditioned, and ready for fitting (rather than sending their own items away, and having to wait to have them reconditioned). Just a thought.
Could POSSIBLY deliver, if I happen to be passing your locality, in the coming weeks.
PM me if interested.
Cheers
Justin
