I wonder if it's any good? Seem to remember it was up for sale earlier in the year.

I went and looked at the car before the previous sale as WHM is fairly close and the condition then was certainly good apart from a few minor cosmetic issues. A previous owner was David Hallworth on this Forum, who I am sure can shed more light on the history, although I recall it had a new clutch. I hope the next person that buys the car keeps hold of her a bit longer! Regards, Matthew T.

Yes you'd think the owner would hang onto it, for it's rareness if nothing else. Nowt as queer as folk!

Evenin' folks.

This is indeed my old car. It certainly looks a bit scruffier now then it did when I had it. Sitting on it's bump stops in the mud isn't a good look!

I did indeed own 3 of these when I sold the green car. Along with a Series 2 XM and a Xantia Activa, all of which were doing less then 1000 miles a year so it made no sense to keep them all.

It drove nicely when I sold the car having had a full set of spheres. I'd also put a new set of coolant pipes that run through the Vee on it along with new inlet manifold o rings. The person I sold it to decided that he didn't like the heavy clutch and sent it in to have a new one fitted to it. I couldn't fault the clutch, it was the same as the other ones I've had.

It's done about 12k miles since I sold it just over two years ago too.

I heard the guy I bought it from got fed up with it as he was using it to commute to the centre of London from Kent every day.
