2.5 Auxillary Radiator

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone has a serviceable 2.5TD Auxiliary Radiator for sale as mine has sprung a serious leak. Cheers, Paul

No spares available from me.
Car can be run with the rad out of circuit.
Not ideal but seems fine for long periods on the two cars I have done that to.
Nissen's rads use far better quality cores than the Ordense Spanish ones from Citroen.
Unfortunately that makes them rather pricey.
Might be worth asking Richard (Boston Cooling Solutions) if he can source and supply.
Had a batch of rads from him a couple of years ago and was very pleased with them.

Thanks for the replies, John, ebay was of course my first port of call, but can't justify that price. I am thinking that the solution, at least for now, is to by-pass it. It shouldn't make much difference in this weather!

Bypass is simple.
Port on main rad is about a mm larger than the small rad ones.

Cheers all, by-passed now, but does anyone know why it seems to take much longer to get up to temperature?

I think the small rad stat cuts in a degree lower than the large rad one.
So initial heat up usually just uses the small rad and its limited coolant volume.
Now it will be using the large rad coolant volume so 5 or 6 times the ampunt to heat.
