The esj and manual box was a Europe excluding UK only option... They saw the UK as a comfy cruiser market that should be auto only...

Anyway.. Who wants a series two... Series one and a half are the best ones and the ones to have...

Never seen a mk1 V6 24V engine in a mk2 before...I thought they were dropped withte introduction ofte mk2 and disn't reappear until the ESJ came along. Obviously they exist!

Europe cars got different specs to us.. if the 24v PRV was a slow seller it could of been dropped here in the UK ONLY..
The PRV 12v carried on into S2 cars right up untill the ESJ came along which was Around 1996/7 - same time the Xantia got the setup...
I Do think the PRV 24v Manual was dropped.. The the ESJ Auto was introduced to replace BOTH PRV 12 and 24v units in one go..

Crikey the later S2 car sold for a mere £375 that is not very much, even with some hydraulic issues, whilst the other one fetched £1,700!! Anyone on the Forum I wonder? Matthew T.
