Wanted - AC pipes and door

Hi Folks,

I'm after a set of AC pipes for a series 1 and also if possible a mandarin red front left door.

Do you want R12 system pipe work Steve? And for what? A 2.1 Diesel?? Ive just removed an r12 setup from my H reg SED and fitted R134a.. I could route that out for you..

Yes but most of the doors added critical mass on the weighbridge...

I have a red n/s front door but its from a Mk2 and don't know about the colour, its metalic.

Hi Paul,

The R12 pipework from the SED would be great, let me know what you want for it. I'm hoping to make it to the CXM.

Shame that I missed out on the car DM broke, oh well.

Thanks Peter, I don't know if S2 doors fit S1 cars but if it needed respraying I maybe better off trying to sort out the existing door. I've never been any good at spraying and wanted to avoid it if possible.

The door will fit Steve,

Colour match may be an issue though. I have a set of mandarin doors here. It has been so long since I have seen them that I don't know what their condition is. Postage would be dear though.

Robert, that is correct provided you use the S2 door lock/mechanism (that hopefully will be with it) as most S1's without the additional side impact bar fitted inside the door carcase and therefore it will not possible to transfer the Mk1 lock mechanism due to not having the scallop feature which allows clearance for the side impact bar (As on some S1.5's and S2's) !

One of the silver estates in the photo should move back home in the next week or so.
No reason why I should not bring the red door on as the car will be virtually empty.
I could then bring it up with a load of bits (part FCF couriers) to Shropshire a little while later.
Part way at least.
