Spotted this on the CCC - shame to see them languishing but doubt many'll get saved as most look scrap.
Another one of those
"you just don't know what's still out there", although these 'hoards' are out there.
(x10 number of cars for one I know of...)
If I had them I'd weigh 'em all in - there's a nice amount of scrap value there with those CX Safaris, XM Estates etc...

Get 'em baled. People don't want to buy good examples, goodness knows why they would want to spend more trying to make scrap good.

Are there any contact details, there are some bits I would like on those cars.
I know of a thicket just like that, it must have 30 cars in it, only 2 Xm though...a Xantia too.

Will,
I've PM'd Paul (Who hosted the OP & Photo's on the BXC), I actually have his phone number, but I'll see if I can get 'Sid's' contact details first or if not ? If I can pass Paul's phone number (With his permission) to you via a PM !

I think you will be right. Sitting down in amongst wet leaves and grass really does for the undersides.

Dean,
It wasn't from the same
'Stable' but very similar situation/circumstances and storage problems (IYCR) ?
It was our very own Phil 'Citroenesque' (on here) and Tim (Roverman) off the BXC, heres the XM forum
LINK and both ended being sold on via E-Bay !
The Valver (16 Valve Gti) which Phil 'Rescued' got bought mainly for the engine (Probably a Pugster) and broke the rest up for spares and Tim's (8 Valve GTi Auto) got sold to someone who was going to go thro' it/renovate it over a period of time (Who was in no rush to get it done) !
So there you have it guy's !
