Parts for sale (now on ebay)

Hi all,
as I have come to the end of my XM'ing days, I'm selling off what parts I have.
I recently disposed of two cars and saved a few 'easy to remove' parts -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/minijets/m.ht ... 4340.l2562
The third one (a 2.1 exclusive) will be going soon. It will have to go in running condition (because of it's location), so I can't remove running parts. But if anyone needs anything that can be easily/quickly removed (I haven't much spare time), please let me know.
I'll be adding to the ebay items over the next couple of weeks, so keep watching for any usefull parts.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Sorry to hear your throwing the towel in on your XM ownership but I suppose as time goes by other may join you too,
(Very soon)
I was just looking at
THIS item you've listed on E-Bay and the photo's don't seem to go together (If that's the correct terminology) ?
As the main photo #1 shows the wooden trim with a Manual gear-stick rather than a 'T' bar (For an Auto) yet photo #2 show the trim panel for an Auto model (Having the gear shift positions shown) and photo #3 is the trim panel which carries the security code panel and window switches etc.
If I have deciphered the photo's and listing/description I take as the items which folk are bidding/buying is what's shown in photo's #2 & #3 ?
Have you removed any lights as someone on the
OTHER XM FORUM is after a pair of good side-lights !
Talking of side-lamps LCS had a pair on for quite a while before Christmas, IIRC for a BIN of £34.99 + postage, but no taker's so obviously just to shift them re-listed and who was it that got a bargain @
£12.94 for a new one at that too,
(I couldn't find the N/S one as being re-listed or sold) ?
Any-how back OT,
I hope you do well with your listings Paul and I'm sure you may get someone along soon asking about strut-tops or clutch cables

Hi Paul,
I noticed your auctions, and thought that you must be stopping with the Xms.

Sad to see, but come next June when both MOTs expire I might well be going the same way. I have been running XMs for around 15 years so it will be the end of an era for me. I may decide to sell them while still Taxed and MOTd, although they both drive well they are going to need more attention than I am able to give them, anyway, a lot can happen between now and then.

XMX,
well spotted and thanks for letting me know. I've amended the ebay listing. The pic of the manual interior was the best I could find. All my cars were auto's.

Hi Paul,
I'd got your
'ETOILE' alloy's in my E-Bay watched list, with a view to bid on them (I now wish that I'd placed a bid on them yesterday) as I see that you've ended the listing prematurely today @ 19:02:05
I suppose you must have negotiated a
'Deal' with some-one off the forum within the last 24 hr's on them

Hi Richard,
that's correct, it looks like the 2.1 exclusive may be going to a member of the forum, and the alloys were part of the deal. I don't know if he wants to remain anonymous, so i'll leave it to him to reveal his identity.
I'm really sorry if you were hoping to aquire the alloys. I wasn't even going to list them on ebay, I didn't think anybody would be interested, they're a bit tatty and the centre caps are missing (Citroen no longer supply them, although, I believe Peugeot ones are the same size, if you don't mind grinding the pug logo off them).
BTW
Thanks for the comments from others here. I'll probably be back here fairly regularly even though I no longer have an XM. This (and the old forum of course) is still the best forum I've ever been a member of.
Unfortunately, the XM's were starting to take over my life. I've got greater priorities and simply don't have the time, space or facilities for them.
I've needed to do this for a long time, but the XM is a hard act to follow, and I kept putting it off, what do you replace it with?.................?
I've decided that I need an MPV, not as entertaining as an XM, but for my circumstances, a bit more practical.
Best regards,
Paul
