Dear yes but those OEM moulded flaps are very hard to come by for some reason.

When I was in scrappies in France, I could have had any number of these mudflaps from cars!

But I prefer the flat ones on the XM for some reason, and moulded ones on the Xantia

I do prefer the flat ones on the S1 certainly, though the S2 seems to look good with the moulded ones.

Never seen an S1 with moulded flaps actually, but would probably look fine.

I still haven't got round to fitting that set I bought, typical! :)

Just a grot trap - I've seen a few s2's go a bit ropey on the tongue of the front wing that covers
the sill and all had these mudflaps fitted - they do what they say - trap mud/stones and grow moss!! :?

Speaking of crap, I actually got around to emptying out behind the drivers side wheel arch liner on the S1.
Holy shit! (literally  ), I must have lifted 2 or 3kg of crap out of there, all as fine, dried dust and mud. It was packed so solidly and straightly, about 12cm deep that when I first touched it I thought it was a part of the inner wing metal, until it crumbled.
After an hour or so of removing handful after handful, and later using a long wooden kebab skewer, I had it completely cleared right back to the door, and was amazed at how clean the line between the door and lower sill was afterwards!

I know we've said it before, but this really is a must do job for every XM. Its easy, and actually quite satisfying (sad I know  ).

I have been looking for a set of these for ages, since we got the silver car. In my opinion they look so much better with them fitted, the styled ones in particular.

Although our white one seems to have had them fitted from new, i dont want to remove them as if i do they brakets will never go back together, however it is starting to rust around the leading edge of the front wings, an age thing i thought but maybe the mudflaps dont help :?

Still, id like a set, its not as if it even goes out in bad weather, so just for looks 8-)

Says post to france, so ill email and see if they will send them here.
