Tell me more about your XM, is it a carb or non turbo diesel model?

Not a hydractive car you mean?

Any pictures?

So are you saying that this unique/hybrid XM you've acquired, has not got an LHM tank or hydraulic pump/sphere's etc. :? :?:

If this is correct then look for a hydraulic brake master-cylinder/reservoir then and maybe a set of McPherson strut's with springs on the front, also a pair of coil springs/damper's on the rear too, if it has no hydraulics/suspension component's (Also pictures would be nice if this is true) !

it doesnt have a switch to change the ride height and looks to be a very basic car it is not a bx its an xm it has no electric windows and no of the usual trappings like alloys or spoiler, etc, it was found b a mate of mine in a garage in the house he bought, its absolutley filthy and thick with muck and dust a wipe over with a cloth revealed that it is black paint colour, we dont know how long it has been there but the house has been empty for at least 10 years,or indeed what sort of condition it is in untill we can get it pulled out but we have had it going, its a petrol model with manual gearbox and plain grey seats other than that i dont really know very much about it from the looks of it it is going to take a fair bit of work to get it running mind you it needs an exhaust and tyres!!! im back up at the weekend so will try to pull it out and GET SOME PICTURES

sounds like a very rare ultra poverty spec model, the ones we have all seen with no centre consol or hydractive and funny nylon seats and brown dashes?
If its been stood in a garage for 10 years it could be in very good condition under all the dirt!!!!!
Would be interesting to see any pictures..............
