What's with the red-painted letters on the inlet manifold??? Looking good!

How much faster if I paint mine in green? is green faster than red? :lol: :lol:

On a serious note, o/s strut top base looking suspect for corossion? R u aware of their weakness messerschmitt owner?

You made me rush out at 6.30 am to check! There's some light surface rust there - but I have some rust converting paint stuff I need for my wife's supposedly hand-built Astra Cabriolet so I will be out with that tomorrow to give it a paint on both sides, then cover with hammerite, I think.

That car looks very tidy indeed, obviously had an enthusiastic owner..or a good clean up for sale.

The red lettering is definitely an add on but looks smartly done.

it has been quite well looked after and, more importantly, has just been chucked out of its garage by the replacement C2. Unfortunately, it is back to living on the driveway at my house.

Done 200 miles in it now - it's lovely.

Sphere change on 21 April though.

I used spheres from AEP as people sometimes complain about Amtex ones from GSF.
