Reality distorter required?

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

It says it's a 2.1 diesel in the listing. :)

I must say on the face of it, it's a decent enough XM and if the price came down to about £1250, it'd still be a lot of car for the money.

Mike

"Separate motor, but did I read right that the late 3.0 on Ebay had a new gearbox at 70k ? Scary !!" They usually do (mine did 78K) unless you change the auto fluid regularly. You certainly have to be aware of this if you are buying one.

My 2.1 TD auto has 93K miles, could easily be tarted up to look as shiney as that with a weekends polishing and cleaning. I still don't think its worth 3.5K though. Would be nice if it was.

Us XM owners should hope it sells at that price!

Let me get this straight, 3 and a half grand for a slushbox approaching the magical 130k mark, cloth interior, the wrong spoiler, and wheel trims?!!

It's a lovely XM no doubt, but drop a zero off the price, then double it and thats more realistic.

someone will come along and have it though, they will see the shiney pictures on the web, go have a look and if the dealer isnt a total spoon i think he could shift it for £2500, only if he makes it perfect though, if it looks like a load of tat when veiwed in the flesh obviously he doesnt stand a chance.
