1990 2.0 Petrol MANUAL Low Miles For sale (On Auto-trader)

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

1990 2.0 Petrol MANUAL Low Miles For sale (On Auto-trader)

Post by XMX » Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:12 pm

As title posting 'ELF' spotted For Sale on AUTO-TRADER and its somewhere in London (9 Miles from Number 10) !
Seller wrote: Full Description:-
12 months mot,5 Door Hatchback, Grey, Petrol, Manual, excellent condition, very clean, start always the first time, radio, full service history, electric sun roof,82000miles only. £599.
Shame there some dents in the N/S/Rear passenger door and N/S/R quarter panel also the usual paint/lacquer peeling/lifting on the top of the rear quarter 'C' pillar glass/panel,
but it could make a nice XM for someone with a bit of TLC :D

Yay, his lights all work!!

What a waste of picture opportunities - how about a better interior and an engine bay pic.

Silver is a very good Xm colour isn't it! A replacement rear nearside door would do wonders
for the car leaving just the moderate crease halfway up the rear wing - I've seen worse.
Getting a rare sight now nice spec early s1's.

That a nice car, a lot of car for the money. It a 2.0 i, I suppose that will be rare enough in itself getting such a basic model as well.

That would be a good using car, or a nice future classic with a bit of tidying up.

Wow, only 82k, yes will do a very nice car, and color very flattering indeed -totally XMesque !!-.

Is this a non-hydractive car? Till now I'd only seen this type of middle non-armrest in LHD non-hydractive XMs.

Can't tell from the photo, but it probably is hydractive. Have you seen the really basic XMs that have no centre armrest at all. The centre console ends after the gear lever surrond, and there is a big space between the seats.

Anyone else spot the other rare car in the photos, an 80s Nissan Bluebird which hasn't yet rusted away, impressive :D

It looks like someone has now bought this as the link is dead and I've just done a fresh search on Auto-trader and it's definitely NOT showing as available !
Has anyone off the forum bought this ?

There weren't any Non Hydractive cars available in the UK and if you look closely the switch is there on the console.

I remember seeing my first Non-Hydra car in France and thinking....Ooo funny 3.5mm suspension pipes.. :?
