Some useful bits at garage80.nl, Kits. I recently bought a BX steering wheel from them, which arrived promptly and in as-new condition.

The wheel was shipped to me and the recovering done by my usual upholstery guy. It was covered over and is slightly thicker, which I find to my advantage with my arthritic fingers.

When the car was purchased it had a number of anomalies, the switches numbering amongst them. It also had S1 door cards and a Xantia steering wheel as well as some other oddities.
There was no service history, maintenance being a rarely used Thai word, and only a short registration history. Again, this is not unusual as the Registration Blue Book only has about 20 spaces to record annual renewals. What it did show was an engine change circa 2011/12. The seller was a part time dealer who had owned and driven the car for a number of years but had no prior knowledge of POs and was not spending anything on upkeep.
We have a number of rescue dogs and we seem to specialise in the dogs that nobody else will take - maybe the Silver Shark is an automotive offshoot of this habit!
